Redundant backbone design with FIBER-BYPASS-XX as bypass (fiber-switching) can minimize this.
FIBER-BYPASS-XX series is an industrial grade Bypass switch for optical fiber built-in 4 x duplex LC with 2-channel duplex or simplex 4-channel fiber-optic connection with bypass function. The optical fiber ports support 100Gbps / 40Gbps / 10Gbps / 1Gbps / 100Mbps fiber connections. FIBER-BYPASS-X automatically switch optical network traffic to prevent link failure during power loss. It also allows the local area network switch can be replaced or removed without stopping the network.
