Thermography is the method to measure an object's temperature with an infrared camera. If the emissivity of the object is known, the intensity of the thermal image will be used to compute the object's surface temperature. By using this technique, the temperature measured at a distance, errors found in metal parts and machines, and medical staff can see a patient internally and non-invasively.
