If, for example, an Access Point or a Bridge is installed on the ceiling just below the roof, because an external roof antenna must be installed, a lot of money can be saved on bringing the voltage supply via the Ethernet cable that is pulled from the local network up to the ceiling equipment. With the ETH-POE12, the installation of 230 V sockets on the ceiling without the use of an authorized installer is avoided. ETH-POE12 is delivered in a set consisting of power supply and splitter.
