FE-6400 is credit-card-size 32-bit CardBus Fast Ethernet 100Base-FX PC Card for PCMCIA CardBus equipped notebook computer.
Designed with high-performance CardBus Fast Ethernet controller,
FE-6400 uses Bus-mastering DMA approach to optimize throughput while maintaining low CPU utlization.
It provides fiber optic link capability for CardBus notebook PC to connect the existing fiber network at 100Mbps data rate with fiber optic cable.
The maximum fiber optic cable distance can be up to 2Km for multi-mode and 5, 20, 40 and 60Km for single-mode fiber.
There are several models for different type of fiber connectors, SC, ST, MT-RJ and LC.
Diagnostic LEDs are easily visible for maintenance purpose.
