DisplayPort (DP) is an advanced connection for transmission of video and sound. It is known for its high 4K x 2k solution (3840 x 2160 pixels) and is a competitor for DVI and HDMI standards. DisplayPort supports up to four screens of every 1920 x 1200 pixels and two screens of each 2560 x 1600 pixels over one single cable. The cable is with 28awg conductors and gold-plated plugs.
