The EPC-SER2L2 is a compact PC with Embedded Linux that offers many possibilities of use.
Examples of use could be:
- FTP server with 2 network connections, which can utilize local network speeds for uploading files.
- Firewall, proxy server and NAT using the software iptables.
- Built-in GoAhead web server. Files for the web server are placed on a micro SD card and mounted.
- Serial port server with ser2net.
Den installerede Linux indeholder følgende softwarepakker: Busybox, diocfg, lrzsz, minicom, microcom, ncurses, ser2net, setserial, bridge-utils, ethtool, goahead webserver, iptables, net-snmp, ntp, openssh, openssl, pppd, ftpd, rp-pppoe, smtpclient og wireless-tools. EPC-SER2L2 konfigureres med kommandoer sendt via telnet.
