The 12th Gen Intel® Core™ based ADS Series industrial motherboards and embedded systems cover a complete product lineup of COM Express, SBC, Mini-ITX, microATX, ATX, fanless systems, AI systems, and more. With energy consumption from ultra-low 9W to high-performance 125W, the ADS Series is tailored to function as the computing brain for various industrial control, IoT, and computer vision applications.
The ADS Series powered by the 12th Gen Intel® Core™ SoC leverages the all-new hybrid architecture of P-Cores and E-Cores to achieve better computing performance with lower power consumption. Workload and workflow can be scheduled intelligently and timely with the best decision for complex visual computing applications.
The new ADS Series has received a significant upgrade on the AI architecture. Besides the new support for Deep Learning Boost (DL Boost) and Vector Neural Network Instruction Set (VNNI), which were previously only available on Xeon processors, it also supports graphic card or Intel® Movidius™ VPUs AI accelerator card expansion for additional deep learning and inferencing capabilities.
A high-speed 10G LAN network accelerates massive data storage and sharing to improve operational efficiency significantly. Meanwhile, the ADS Series also supports 2.5G LAN, wireless wide-bandwidth 5G, and Wifi 6E to deliver up to 6GHz high-speed transmission, giving more flexibility for device deployment and making edge devices collaborate seamlessly and in real-time.
Virtual GPU Support for Accelerated Workload Integration
The ADS Series is the first platform to equip GFX SR-IOV functionality. The supported Single-Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV) to Intel® Graphics Virtualization Technology and I/O Virtualization Technology (Intel® GVT) gives virtual machines (VMs) access to the physical functions of a GPU’s PCI Express port and reduces the latency caused by the entirely software-based virtualization, delivering native hardware performance as well as a 60 fps frame rate. This enables manufacturers to eliminate redundant systems, reduce total energy consumption, and lower costs.
