DC to 230 VAC Inverter

Inverters or converters are used eg. in cars and caravans for supplying 230 VAC equipment. The devices connect directly to the vehicle's 12VDC battery. The output AC voltage is either a true sine wave, or a staircase alternating voltage. If the equipment to be powered is equipped with a switch mode PSU, the inverter should be of the true sinusoidal wave voltage type.
